NZR2.00229FAU001-01: human thigh bone. In 1347 the Chapel of the Holy City was built between the Kalverstraat and the Rokin. This grew into a church in which people were buried over many centuries. This thigh bone probably comes from one of the chapel graves that ended up in the Rokin as a result of demolition work in 1906. Dated: 1500 – 1700. Lengte: 463 mm.
